Here at Reynolds Cycling, the hard work happens in the Reynolds Composite Studio, where our team of talented and dedicated engineers collaborates on the innovative and painstaking designs used in Reynolds Cycling wheels.
There’s literally a rocket scientist at the helm of RCS, and he’s an ex-pro triathlete to boot. His name is Paul Lew, and when he’s not designing unmanned aircraft for the United States Department of Defense, he’s registering another patent, analyzing computational fluid dynamics data, or visiting the A2 Wind Tunnel in North Carolina.
Paul Lew pioneered the use of unidirectional carbon fiber technology in bicycle rims, breaking ground for the entire carbon wheel industry. His designs, molds, tooling, production techniques, and testing protocols create the soul of the Reynolds Composite Studio.
Alongside of Lew is a group of creative and brilliant engineers who pour their passion for the ride into every aspect of wheel design and testing.
The talented RCS team is focused on:
RCS continually asks, “How can we make this better?” – and answers its own question with startling results.
